Johnny Depp has reportedly bought an engagement ring for partner Vanessa Paradis. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star asked a high-end California jewelry store to close to the public so he could privately choose a ring for Vanessa, who he has been dating for 10 years.
A source told OK! magazine: “This was Johnny’s third or fourth visit to the store.”
“He looked at an assortment of classic solitaire diamond rings in platinum settings – a really beautiful selection of elegant and understated rings and made a very large purchase.”
Johnny – who has two children, Lily Rose, nine and Jack, six, with Vanessa – has previously insisted he and the French star have no desire to marry.
The 45-year-old actor once claimed: “I don’t feel like I need a piece of paper that says I own her and she owns me.”
Vanessa, 35, recently said she already feels married and has no need to take her relationship further.
She said: “I love the romance of ‘Let’s get married’ but then when you have it so perfect… I mean, I’m more married than anybody can be – we have two kids. Maybe one day, but it’s something I can really do without.”

First and foremost, Vanessa Horseface there appears, as I’ve said in my post, to be afflicted with some manner of illness wherein her teeth slowly consume the rest of her feral little squinty eyed face. This Teetheatface thingy is something I would be most depressed if she passed on to Johnny (WHO IS MINE, HEAR ME WORLD, MIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!! END OF) who has to remain perfect in order for us to produce our super kidlets who will then rule the world with their extraordinary beautifulness. Ugly people will be given an island somewhere nice, which Horseface can rule, wherein they can marry other ugly people, create ugly children, and yet convieniently leaving us beautiful far enough away that we don’t have to envision the union, thus requiring an expensive and painful brain bleaching.
I’m afraid, as I’ve just pictured Paradis naked, I have to book an appointment with my brain bleacher now. Damn it, Johnny…enough is enough!! He had serious insercurities when he was younger and sure maybe his wife is ugly and we all hate her for taking depp away from us but they cant help who they fall in love with… Only cos shes not on the pretty side and he is, dosent mean they shouldnt be together. ok people in the world today are way to concerned with looks and fitting in with the “in crowd”! weather she is ugly or as beautiful as can be shouldn’t be a factor. as long as they make eachother happy then that is all that matters. not weather one is ugly or who looks better.people spend more time now days thinking about how they look and will fit in then things of real importance and how they can possibly help others. people are so afraid to be “themselves” or say what they really belive or feel because they might not fit in if they do so .it is rather kind of sickening.normaly i wouldn’t even leave a comment on things such as this however while reading all your comments on how she is a “horseface” i realized one thing……people today are pathetic as well as society.everyone wants the “Hot” guy or girl and everyone is worried about staus.i myself respect a “ugly” person who is true to themselves and others more then a “pretty” person who is a fake.oh and one last thing reality check to you all he would never have been anyone of yours.he’s probably old enough to be most of yours dad.and to hate her for being what he wants is rather sad.since she seams to have been a good thing for him.
I have enjoyed Johnny Depp’s movies and was lucky enough to meet him once. He is a real down o earth guy. His wife is lucky to have him and he is lucky to have her. I think love doesn’t care what is on the outside. All that matters is that they are in love and happy. If you have a problem with that maybe you should look to reality instead of being jealous of a person that you don’t even know. Get out of the house and meet people, maybe you too will find true love.
